Agape and OpenDNS

  Here at Agape we are very excited about a new filtering system that we will be offering in conjunction with two Companies that are very much at the forefront of technology today.  OpenDNS and Netgear have partnered to create a state-of-the-art router that includes Parental Controls by OpenDNS.  This solution makes it very simple to filter your entire home network with minimal hassle.
  Here at Agape we have just installed the Netgear WnR2000 router and within minutes had a cutting edge wired and wireless network up and running.  The best part is that our entire network is filtered!  So if a friend stops in with a laptop to use our internet access I can have the peace of mind that they will enjoy filtered internet access without any modifications to their computer!

  We are now in the process of testing the OpenDNS filter.  From what I have seen so far it is a very user friendly filter that should be a good solution for most adults or as a baseline protection on a diverse network.  Speaking of which I was very glad to see that Agape's SafeGuard filter seems to be working very well in conjunction with the OpenDNS filter.  This will allow me to have a double layer of protection from 2 diverse filtering systems.
